Lethabo was given a Queen’s Young Leaders Award in 2016 for her work to improve local communities. She has worked on Project Playground, which provides pupils with a place to take part in activities after school, and Great Corner Lugna Gatan, a crime intervention initiative which helps young people turn their lives around.
