The Queen’s Young Leaders team is excited to announce that for the first time ever Award winners and grantees will come together to learn valuable lessons from each other and take their work to the next level.

Twenty Queen’s Young Leaders Award winners from 2015 and 2016 and staff from grants across the Commonwealth will take part in the “Singapore Accelerator – Powered by the Queen’s Young Leaders”.

Led by the Queen’s Young Leaders team, the aim of the three day event is to provide participants with an opportunity to help them develop their projects and to find innovative and technical solutions to problems they are encountering in their work.

During the event they will identify problems they want to overcome and work together to find solutions.  As well as meeting inspiring leaders from big businesses who will help them to come up with creative solutions, it will also be a fantastic opportunity to learn about the exciting tech and innovation work going on in Singapore.

In advance of this meet-up, four members of staff from grants projects, Mike from Bongohive, Korvi from Jaago, Sydney from Sandals and Jaevion from J-Flag, will be in Singapore picking up important leadership techniques and learning about innovation at the CSCLeaders conference, in order to further improve the running of their organisations.

CSCLeaders is a global leadership programme for leaders from across the Commonwealth. The programme is a partnership between leadership development organisation Common Purpose and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences.
